This page sets out what personal data is processed on this website, for what purpose, and how long it is retained.
Data controller
The data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR is:
- Minos Makina Otomasyon San. Tic. A.Ş.
- Kemalpaşa OSB Mah. İzmir Ankara Yolu (Ansızca) Küme Evleri No:358/5, 35730 Kemalpaşa, İzmir, Türkiye

Personal data processed and purposes
| Where | Data processed | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact form | Name, company, email, phone, the service you are interested in, and your message | To answer your enquiry | Until the enquiry is closed; if a business relationship follows, for the statutory retention periods |
| AI assistant | What you type in the chat | To answer your question | Not stored on our servers |
| Quote request via the assistant | Part description, quantity, your email address and the chat transcript | To prepare a quotation | Same as the contact form |
| Abuse protection | An irreversible hash (SHA-256) of your IP address — the raw IP is never written anywhere | To rate-limit excessive requests | 24 hours at most |
| Usage counters | Aggregate numbers only: how many chats, messages and quote requests, and the language split. Contains nothing that can be linked to you | To measure the assistant’s effectiveness | 90 days |
| Theme preference | Your light/dark theme choice | To remember your preference on your next visit | Stays in your browser; not sent to us |
Legal basis
We process your personal data on the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into one (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2-c) — your quote request and our reply.
- Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5/2-f) — protecting the site against abuse and measuring the assistant’s effectiveness.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. We do not run any analytics that track your visit — there is no third-party tracking code of any kind, Google Analytics included. The one exception is the map in the contact section, and it does not load on its own: it is fetched from Google only when you press “Load the map”. Until then no request goes to Google at all. If you choose to load it, your IP address is sent to Google and Google may set its own cookies; those are not cookies we set.
The only thing we store in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, and it stays in your browser: it is not sent to our servers. This is why no cookie banner is shown.
Service providers and international transfers
Some of the providers we rely on to run this site are located outside Türkiye, which means the data concerned is transferred abroad:
- Hostinger — website hosting.
- Web3Forms — delivering contact form and quote request submissions to us by email.
- Cloudflare — the infrastructure the assistant runs on, and abuse protection.
- Anthropic (Claude) — generating the assistant’s answers.
- Google — the embedded map in the contact section.
Disclosure to third parties
We pass on to the providers above only the data the service requires. We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. On the assistant side your IP address is never written anywhere in raw form — only an irreversible hash of it is used.
However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure. For drawings and specifications that are commercially confidential, we recommend sending them by email or through an agreed corporate channel rather than through the contact form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and under Article 11 of the Turkish Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, request information about it.
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
- Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data has been transferred.
- Have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected.
- Request erasure or destruction of the data where the conditions for it are met.
- Request that any correction or erasure be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to.
- Object to a decision produced solely by automated analysis that has an adverse effect on you.
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How to exercise them
Requests may be submitted to info@minos.com.tr. We will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, or with your local supervisory authority if you are in the European Union.
Changes
We update this text whenever the data flows on the site change. The current version is always published at this address and the date under the heading changes with it.
